{Juno Blu. The ULTIMATE Breast Pump Bags}

I.Love.Juno.Blu.

When I was asked to review Juno Blu’s Nepenthe Tote in Black  I was honored and excited! Let’s face it, being an exclusive pumping mama is so unglamorous. I don’t get those beautiful breastfeeding photos (hashtag breastfeedingisbeautiful) and empowerment comments. No ma’am. I get a heavy, ugly pump, uncomfortable pumping bras and plastic parts up the waazoo. The bags that come with most (all) pumps are unattractive to say the least and SCREAM breast pump. Now while others may not care, I work in a professional setting and like to be more discrete. My office is extremely family friendly, however, I don’t want all the agents to know what I’m actually toting around.  Shannan and Kelley are geniuses for coming up with the idea of higher end, attractive breast pump bags. I like to think of this as the Cadillac of pump bags. I have walked past clients and other agents in my office and always get many oooohhhhs and ahhhhhhs about this bag. No one guesses that this  is specifically for carrying my breast pump.

When I opened up Nepenthe it felt like Christmas. It is gorgeous.

See? LOVE IT!

See? LOVE IT!

I was almost afraid to use it. It’s just that beautiful. Luckily one of the tags caught my eye that let me know it was okay to spill breast milk on it. It wipes clean! Genius. Before I did this review I wanted to use it for a couple months so I could let you guys know how durable it is. Not going to lie, I did baby it the first couple weeks. Realistically though, that is not how we live our lives. This bag has been tossed in the back of my SUV, spit up on, carried client files, acted like a diaper bag and has had breast milk spilt more than once. It still looks fantastic! Not only is this bag stunning, it’s totally durable.

I use this at work, going out and about and not too long ago I toted this beauty around with me at MommyCon Chicago. I must admit, I was the envy of more than a few pumping moms.

I want to share some of the features I like most about Juno Blu Nepenthe.

{{{Its size.}}} I alternate between a Medela Symphony and Ameda Purely Yours. The Symphony is a beast. Despite that, it still fits in my bag with room to zip.

This even fits my Medela Symphony!

{{{The side pockets.}}}I can easily fit my Ameda in the side zipper part. I love this feature because I do not have to take as much out and it’s more discrete. This pocket is actually closed off from the rest of the bag.

Side pocket allows for discrete storage.

The pocket on the other side contains a couple ice packs and is insulated for milk storage. You can actually keep liquids warm or cold for up to 4 hours, depending on the outside temperature.

{{{The Beauty}}} This really is a gorgeous bag. I get compliments every time I take it out and no one believes it’s a breast pump carrying bag. Besides the Nepenthe there are several other bags to choose from in multiple stylish colors.

So many choices!

So many choices!

{{{The Versatility }} I use this bag as a pump bag but it also doubles up as a diaper bag and brief case. Since it is so large I can fit a wrap and cloth diapers or even several client files.

{{{The Company}}} It makes me feel a little better about purchasing an item if I like the company and what they stand for. Shannan and Kelley give back by donating a portion of each sale to Best for Babes, which is a mission to help moms reach their breastfeeding goals. How awesome is that?!

I love my Juno Blu bag. It offers moms a chic and higher end alternative to the classic nylon pump bag. I feel good when I carry it. Juno Blu breast pump totes retail at $185 and are available at www.junoblu.com. Thank you Juno Blu <3
