Kings and Queens
I wrote about Adele being our last baby a while back. I’ve also mentioned our plans to adopt, hopefully in the near future, from Africa. When we get really busy I tend to put it on the back burner, but every now and then something really re-ignites my passion for our little ones somewhere across the world.
With Adele having just turned two this weekend, I have felt really melancholic over her growing so fast. I love watching her grow, but I am also so sad to see my baby turning into a little girl. It does, however, fuel my desire to adopt. I can’t wait to add a few little playmates for her, and for the other kids as well. In addition, we are moving to a bigger house (more on that another day), which I can’t wait to fill with little ones. I heard a song today that really puts into words and song my heart towards all of our kids, but especially the little kings and queens we have yet to add to our family. I hope you’ll give it a listen, even if you aren’t a Christian or interested in adoption.
