Made by Mom – MommyCon

I have been super busy as of late. Between being a mommy, wife and business owner, I’ve struggled to keep up with my blog posts. I actually even missed a scheduled post this week, because I have been pretty overwhelmed by the daily grind.

I’m finishing up some work with my small business branding clients, and over the last 5 weeks have been plugging away at a pretty big project that we announced this week. It’s called MommyCon, and it is the culmination of all my passions; motherhood, education, event planning and branding. Myself as well as everyone at TMD has put in a great amount of effort to make MommyCon a reality, and I am thrilled to finally unveil it to the world. Our first branded event under the MommyCon title will be in Las Vegas on January 4, 2013. Just a few short months away and it will revolutionize parenting events forever.

While MommyCon focuses on mother and child, it is an event that is open to the whole family. The seminars will be geared for mothers-to-be, and moms of young children who follow the gentle and natural rules of parenting. Or maybe we should say, lack of rules in traditional parenting. Seminars will include everything from preparing yourself for birth (whether that is natural or cesarean , bringing home baby and the first few weeks, breastfeeding beyond the first six months, cloth diapering basics and even some tricks you’ve never heard of before, living greener and cleaner, carseat safety and the best seat for your family, the best in gear for babies and tots, and so much more! We will have industry experts, doctors, midwives and lactation consultants on hand. Our special guest speakers will be announced over the next two months, and I can guarantee you, you will not be disappointed.

We will be giving away thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of the best gear and have phenomenal prizes! Every attendee gets to go home with a jam packed gift bag from our sponsors and most importantly, every attendee will leave with new knowledge that will help their families grow.

MommyCon “Mini “ is just a taste of what’s to come for the MommyCon brand and I am so excited to share more details with you guys as we grow. TMD will be your official source for all MommyCon news and details, and we will all be in attendance at MommyCon doing a panel discussion. It will be so much fun and I can’t wait to meet more of our awesome readers the next time we are in town!
