Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and White Wine

One of our favorite sides is Brussels Sprouts with bacon and white wine, all the SquishyKids love it…including SquishyBaby.  This looks like a giant tray and it is, but trust me there is nary a brussels sprout left in sight after the SquishyClan gets a hold of them.  I used to make this in a pan on the stove, but once I discovered how much easier it is to roast things I’ve never looked back.

What you need….Brussels sprouts, bacon, olive oil, white wine, salt and pepper

Drizzle some olive oil into a shallow pan or cookie sheet and preheat your oven to 430 degrees

Halve your Brussels sprouts and put them onto your pan in 1 single layer

Add your bacon

Sprinkle about 1 cup of wine over the sprouts as well as a generous drizzle of olive oil

Season with salt and pepper

Pop into your already preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until some of the sprouts have gotten nice and roasted on the outside

Serve up and enjoy! Yummy yummy
