Lily had a bit of a cough starting Saturday morning and was complaining of an itchy throat. The weather had been switching from rainy, cold, sunny, warm, and everything in between so I blamed that. There was no fever involved so I *hoping* it was allergies.

Monday morning Riley had the same dry cough so I knew it was only a matter of time before it starting spreading like wild fire.

Logan woke up Tuesday morning with a dry throat and headache. As the day progressed for him he started feeling better. So he said. Wednesday he had no voice for the first few hours of his day. Luckily, Starbucks helped to cure that just in time for work…

Yesterday it all took a turn for the worse. The baby toddler caught it. Boy it is so different having a sick toddler to having a sick baby. When she was still itty she would just cuddle and nurse all day. Not now! She is too busy to nurse as much as she did and will just walk around fussing at me. It is so sad and so frustrating for us both. She has a booger nose and a cough and just a big ole crank face.

The good news is mama is NOT sick. Thank goodness! If I get sick the whole ship goes down. It is my birthday this weekend and would like it if my family was feeling better but we will see. *Knock on wood*

Ugh, we’ve had a horrible winter of sickness. Hope your family gets better soon!
My 7 month old is getting over croup and he would not stop and cuddle! He just learned to crawl so now he can’t stop moving. I would try and force him to nurse hoping he’d nap since he was sick lol 🙂

We just went through the same thing and I had the same mantra of “mommy can’t get sick” because you’re right, everything falls apart if mom is sick. I hope everything is back to normal soon!
