For many many MANY years a Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato was my go to drink at Starbucks. I rarely ordered anything else, and when I did it was always the same “alternative”….but mainly I stuck with my tried and true Caramel Macchiato. Recently I learned about a “Secret Starbucks Menu” and decided I had to try some of these delicious sounding drinks. The first one I tried (pictured above) is called a Twix Frappachino….and holy fucking shit is it the best thing I’VE EVER had in my life! It’s like a dessert in a cup, that I get to drink. Ordering said concoction takes some balls though…you feel like a complete asshole when it takes you 5 mins to order your drink, but it’s totally worth it.
To make a Twix Frapp of your own you need to ask for this “Venti Caramel Frapp with extra caramel, 1 pump hazelnut, 3 scoops (or your preference) Java chips with whip cream blended INTO it and Mocha drizzle”. You’ll probably have to repeat it several times so make sure you write it down. In addition to the Twix Frapp….we have also tried the Snickers Frapp (which is Mr. Squish’s favorite). It is also REALLY delicious, but Twix is my fave. For a Snickers Frapp, that’s a “Venti Java Chip Frapp, 2 pumps toffee nut and caramel drizzle” and about 1200 calories a piece. I’m really glad I don’t own a scale because I am fairly certain I’ve gained 10 lbs in Starbucks alone. Be warned….these Frapps are DANGEROUS!
Along with these 2 delicious Frapps, there is over a dozen more “secret” drinks you can order. Ranging from a Captain Crunch Frapp to a Fruity Pebbles, Banana’s Foster and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frapp or Raspberry Macchiato….along with hot drinks as well. Just make sure you know how to make what your ordering or you might end up with something extra and unwanted in your drink 😉 . I will definitely be ordering a “The Nutella” (Cafe Misto with 1 pump chocolate syrup and 1 pump hazelnut and a drop of caramel drizzle) this fall when it gets a tid bit nippley outside….possibly even before. That is if I can tear myself away from the Twix Frapp long enough to order one.
