The Top 5
As I started counting votes I realized my favorite wasn’t in the top 5. I wondered why she was missing and why people didn’t see what I saw when I read her post. I became sad and a bit angry, but knew that every single one of the candidates in the top 15 were amazing and even though she was missing, it would be ok.
I continued to tally up the votes and saw that a few of my other favorites were in the top 5 and that my fellow bloggers seemed to all pick similar candidates as their favorites. I wish this was less of a competition as it is a chance to have an organized platform to write on. If I could, I would let everyone write for TMD, but organizing 8 writers was tough and the idea of 25+ is insanity.
I thought I would be announcing the top 5 today, but instead I will be announcing 6 amazing writers who have captured our hearts. We had a tie and a tie breaker would just be silly.
