Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
3 cups flour
2 eggs
1 cup butter
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp hot water
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tbs vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 and grease 2-3 baking sheets

Cream together butter and sugar. Mix in one egg at a time. Dissolve baking soda into hot water and add in. Add vanilla and salt and gradually add in flour. When combined stir in chocolate chips and butterscotch morsels

Place 1/2″ to 2″ balls at least 1.5″ apart on greased cookie sheets. You will cook the cookies for between 10-15 minutes or until edges are a light golden brown.

The recipe makes anywhere from 34-68 cookies depending on the size you make. I always make about 2 dozen 1″ cookies and another 2 dozen big cookies.20120111-225423.jpg
