Clean Mud: A fun (and clean) kids project

You must be asking yourself….what in the heck is she talking about? Clean mud? What? Well this fun little project gets your hands dirty…or rather clean in a mud like substance without the mess!  You can mold shape and squish the clean mud between your fingers or make shapes and handprints and the best part is your actually cleaner then when you started!  Lets see how it’s down

To make clean mud you need….1 roll of toilet paper, 1 bar of dove soap, a large bowl, a grater, some warm (warm enough to melt soap) water your hands, some willing kids and a water proof table cloth, drop cloth or tarp

Start by grating the entire bar of soap in to the bowl

Now tear up the whole roll of toilet paper into little pieces on top of  the soap

Kids love this part

….a good while later, almost there!

Once your toilet paper is all torn up your going to slowly add the water and mix the soap and toilet paper around with your hand until you get a nice muddy consistency.  But dont use to much water, or you just get soup….and that’s no fun at all.

So much clean fun!
