DIY Christmas Ornaments {For Cheap}

Christmas time is here! We recently bought our 2012 tree and had a great night hanging the lights & decorating it. Every year I make each member of my family an ornament. It’s very easy to do and very cheap. This is what you do:

First, buy each family member a clear ornament from the craft store. Hobby Lobby has these that are $0.99 AND were 50% off when I bought them. WIN! These are also shatter-proof. Perfect for the little curious hands that belong to my children.

 You will also need:

 Total cost for each ornament: $.75! Plus they are personalized, which makes them even better. Decorate each ornament with the paint markers. You can also use letter stickers used for scrapbooking. That works well, too. This year I just used the first letter of each name. The mini styrofoam balls go into each ornament, & it looks like snow. Obviously you can’t pour them into the tiny opening of the ornament, so I made a funnel out of paper. Super easy!

 Tie the ribbon onto the top of each ornament. Use a ornament hook to hang. You’re all done! Simple, cute, inexpensive ornaments you can make with your family every year!
