We have had so much fun with the Simple Play Series that Kelli came up with, here at TMD, and we truly hope you all got some great options for your kiddos. Today is our last review and giveaway in the series. This product was offered to us by Things by V, Felt creations and Simple Toys. She was nice enough to send Lily a cute little felt baby and a giveaway. Lily loved them so much she claimed both! (More on the giveaway in a sec).
The animals arrived wrapped in tissue inside an adorable lime green chinese take out type box. The animals are a little small so I worried a little about them getting lost in our crazy house. Or the dog getting to them. One is a pale green and teal owl and the other one is a brown possum. These little cuties are made of cheap felt found at your local craft store. They are very, very well made. Lily instantly feel in love with her “OWWWWW” and the “baby” found it’s mom in a dinosaur stuffy we have laying around. She played and played with them. Giving kisses, reading books, putting them to bed. They are apart of the De Groff household now.
I have to admit… the dog did get to them but he did NOT get through them!
Overall, these toys are extremely well made and very adorable. I think as Lily gets a little older and gets better with story telling these toys will even become more of a fixture in her play time. They are a little small for the price but the quality does justify the cost.
Now here is the fun part… you can enter to win your very own felt baby. Since Lily claimed the original giveaway item I will purchase the winner’s choice of animal (up to $15) and it will ship directly to you!
