TMD Details: Full Disclosure

The TMD Retreat was a 3 day weekend of bonding for 6 of the Mommy Dialogues writers. Alyssa, Kelli, Jessica, Geneva, Risa and Xza all got to meet for the first time! Unfortunately Misty was unable to attend, but we hope to meet her soon too! It was a pretty incredible experience that none of us will be forgetting any time soon.

We have some really exciting changes coming your way. Our store will be expanding and getting a slight face lift. We will continue selling diapers and wraps, but now we will offer even more brands.

We have a ton of great giveaways in-store including our 1000 fan giveaway on Facebook. When we get to 1000 likes, we will be giving away a lifetime supply of diapers (24 diapers & inserts) or a Didymos Wrap of the winners choosing. When we get to 5000 we will be giving away a car seat and another wrap. At 10,000 I have a feeling we will be giving away something even bigger. If we come together and spread the word about TMD and the things we stand by; breastfeeding, cloth diapering, AP, Baby Led Weaning and Elimination Communication we will be at 10,000 in no time! We are also offering giveaways on TwitterIf you aren’t following us on Pinterest, feel free to add us too. We would love to see your pin boards!

We feel like it’s important to disclose how we make money off of the blog. Other than the store, we use affiliate accounts for products we love. We do not open affiliate accounts just to make money, we actually try every product we have an account with and hope you love them just as much as we do.

The TMD Shop is connected with the blog, but is a separate entity. We sell products that we love that aren’t available at big box stores. We only sell items in the shop that are approved by us as moms. We have been contacted to sell products we don’t stand by and have said no.

We will not, and will never have formula advertisements or disposable diaper ads. We may review a disposable bio-degradable diaper, but we have agreed as a group that allowing advertisements from formula companes and disposable diapers goes against what we believe in as a group. We want to encourage and promote breastfeeding and want the cloth diaper movement to thrive.

The next point I would like to touch on is sponsored posts. We will never be paid for a review. ever. never ever never. If a post is sponsored by a company and we are reviewing a product, it will be noted in the review. We will never take compensation for a review of a product.

If a company, blog or person would like to sponsor a non-product related post, this will be noted. We believe that accepting paid review posts goes against our ethos as a group.

Now that all of that is out of the way, we would love to hear from our readers. We want to know what posts you would like to see. We have all agreed to post more and to include more about our families. We love writing and contributing to TMD has been a learning experience for all of us.

I always enjoy the vegetarian/vegan recipe posts, how to live more green, cloth diaper reviews, stroller reviews….ect. I would really like to see more reviews on things we can get at “regular” stores. I live in a mid sized city (about 1/2 million i think) so I can’t get a lot of specialty items that people who live in larger cities have access to. Unfortunately those “regular” store have a lot of crappy, non-green, non-natural items but surely there must be some great products in there somewhere?! LOL. Just a thought…. But you know I love you guys!
