UPPAbaby G-Lite {Review}

We were looking & researching lightweight strollers for quite some time before we bought the UPPAbaby G-Lite. I wanted something light, easy to open & close, easy to operate, & wasn’t going to take up a lot of room in our car. Review after review of the G-Lite that I read gave it nothing but praise. I am so happy with this stroller & I cannot be more pleased with it.

The Basics:

The stroller itself weighs 8.3 lbs. It is for babies ages 6 months-40 lbs. Collapses to 11 by 12 by 42 inches.

One of my favorite features is that it has the ability to stand on it’s own. No more propping it up against the car or laying on dirty concrete.

Another awesome feature is the built-in strap. Since the stroller is super light, carrying it on my shoulder is better than carrying my purse.

To close the stroller, literally press a button. It can fold up with one hand.

To open, you step on a  foot pedal. The stroller will pop open. The shade can be used 3 ways for optimal UV protection:

Some of the other features are: comfortable handles with grips, a adjustable/removable cup-holder, basket underneath.

It retails for $129.99 online. I adore this stoller.  It’s well worth every penny. Not to mention, it takes up zero room in the back of our SUV.

The basket is a bit small. It might hold a couple of pairs of shoes or a small bag, but no way could it hold a diaper bag.

It does not recline. The G-Luxe, the step up from the G-Lite, does recline. The G-Lite does not.

    I also was in the market for a light weight stroller for travel and trunk space. We currently have the three wheel all terain jeep stroller (we love it!) I have an suv and hubby has a car. The jeep stroller uses all his trunk space so aside from the weight and size it’s our go to stroller. We just bought a snap and go (car seat snaps in the frame) for flights and it’s light weight and small. The snap and go is in hubby’s car and the jeep stroller is in my car! We will be trying for baby number 2 next year so I hope these strollers last 🙂
