One thing I have been SO excited about ever since I applied to write for TMD was the possibility of offering free printables to all of you! I love to play in Photoshop and make fun party decorations, invitations, wall art and the like. I thought it would be nice to give you a little something fun & sweet for Valentine’s Day.
Speaking of which, Valentine’s Day is tomorrow. Do you remember making little boxes to take to school for all of your classmates to pop a valentine in? I do, like it was yesterday. This year will be Zoelie’s first chance to experience it! Since she is in preschool, they aren’t making boxes, but they are getting to wear their pj’s to school and pass out little cards and treats to each other.
I don’t know if you’re like me, but I often procrastinate on little things like picking up a box of valentine cards at the store. I also prefer to avoid the typical princesses, Hello Kitty, and Justin “Beaver” (as Zoelie refers to him). If that sounds familiar, then this post is for you! Turn on your printer and print out this free set of colorful chevron classroom cards!
To get the cards, just print out the .pdf file on a piece of white paper, cardstock would be a good choice. There are six cards on a sheet! Cut them out and voila! Done.
You can open the free .pdf file right here—> Printable Classroom Cards
So easy, and you won’t have any duplicates in your kiddo’s class! You can even attach a treat to them – I think we will use individually wrapped organic fruit leather or a small sticker sheet. The colors used are all Pantone’s 2013 spring color palette, which I just adore! The font is by Nymphont, and the little characters on each card were drawn specifically for this printable set by Jimmy the Kid – one of the seven uncles. Told you he was sweet! Hope you enjoy!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
